The drama is based on a novel ''The Trail'' written by Franc Kofha in the early twentieth century.. It follows the journey of a man (Josef K.) who wakes up one morning and is arrested without being told, what he is accused of, Josef K. sets out to find out what his trial is all about and encounters an alien world of the court, of women, lawyers, art and the church.
For this production an own, adapted version of the novel was created.
