Mawuli Tofah [Mawuli K Tofah ( Amenorvi) Born in Keta in the Volta region of Ghana. Raised in Swaziland in its capital Mbabane and South Africa in the period of the apartheid. His passion for photography and sound grew from childhood through high school oh his return to Ghana after. Mawuli enrolled at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) – Ghana that provided him with enriching opportunities that helped, developed his skills in photography, filmmaking and sound production. Mawuli graduated from NAFTI in 2005 with a 
 Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film sound production. He has ever since his graduation worked with the New York University, Accra in the Department of Art and Art Professions as a teaching assistant for the Projects in Photography and Post Colonial Practice in studio arts and along side worked as a Freelance Photographer. He has shot for Courier International (Spain) and Sunday Times in the UK, worked as Film sound engineer and filmmaker in Ghana and abroad. Mawuli has been nominated in 2012 and 2013 for the Ghana movie awards in the category of sound mixing and editing.
